All of our gratings are manufactured strictly in accordance with the recommendations of BS 4592-0:2006 which gives three different categories of loading:
a Light Duty 3 kN/m2 described as access limited to one person only
b Normal Duty 5 kN/m2 described as regular two way pedestrian traffic
c Heavy Duty 7.5 kN/m2 described as high density pedestrian traffic
